Review of the Year
This year has seen dramatic changes in the Environmental Services Industry with a great emphasis being put on businesses and households to recycle where possible. Newport has been subject to a lot of negative publicity over the growth in fly tipping and lack of action in punishing those responsible. This is despite Newport Council being recognised as one of the best in the country for its pro active approach to recycling. GD Environmental awarded NGB2B “Most Promising new Business” is committed to reducing the high levels of fly tipping and increasing recycling across Wales. This will be achieved through the development of its “waste transfer and recycling station” providing a disposal site for any quantity of waste with the company’s goals being to reach its ambitious 80% annual recycling target.
