GD Environmental Services would like to welcome enthusiastic graduate Gerwyn Holmes to its successful Waste Management and Specialist Disposal team.
Gerwyn will occupy the position of marketing co-ordinator supporting our existing dynamic team to continue the development of high quality Drain and Environmental services operating across Wales and West of England. GD Environmental’s consistent growth within the environmental industry has been a stimulus to invest in new talented employees. Gerwyn’s previous involvement with Software Marketing and E-Commerce for Trivex Systems Ltd will provide beneficial experience for the upcoming development of our corporate website.
Gerwyn says “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity in such an established and rapidly developing company. With constant concerns over the environment, particularly the reliance on landfill sites to dispose of end waste, I see this position as a real challenge and look forward to tackling problems head on to help create an environmentally friendly Wales”.
Last year GD Environmental achieved record turnover and has re invested large quantities into the training of new staff and the purchasing of new waste transfer and disposal vehicles. Next month dawns the opening of the new transfer station based on the Felnex industrial estate in Newport, built to increase GD’s capacity to transportation both wet and dry waste. This development will provide resources to recycle a variety of produce reducing the amount of landfill waste. Gerwyn is keen to begin marketing the forthcoming GD Environmental website and will aim to continue the company’s outstanding reputation across Wales and the West.
