South Wales’ fastest growing waste management company, GD Environmental, has welcomed the delivery of its Mercedes 4000 gallon tanker, purchased to support the firms growing client base and the continued expansion of its service offering.
Chepstow-based tanker specialists, Fuller Tankers UK, were commissioned to specially design the vacuum unit, purposely constructed to transport large quantities of waste and interceptor cleansing, whilst being fitted with state of the art wash down facilities.
The arrival of the Mercedes 4000 Gallon tanker comes weeks after GD Environmental purchased a MAN Hook Loader, the first of 14 vehicles that continue to arrive throughout 2013 – 2014, which is part of a £1.3 million vehicle investment plan.
The latest editions to the company’s growing fleet of vehicles were desperately required to service the firms recycling operation, whilst creating four full-time employment opportunities.
Commenting on the recent investments, James Norvill, Chief Executive of GD Environmental said “In line with the company’s growth, we have expanded our transport operations to meet the increasing demand of our ever-growing list of clients in South Wales and beyond”.
In 2013, GD Environmental invested £500,000 in improving its fleet of vehicles with advanced technologies to reduce their carbon emissions.
