Recruitment Drive for Waste Management Company

South Wales’ fastest growing waste management company, GD Environmental, has appointed two new members of staff whilst forming a partnership with Wales’ flagship placement provider – Jobs Growth Wales.

Meet Our New Team Members 

Andrew Massey and Melissa Hodges, both graduates from the University of South Wales, join GD Environmental to help support the firm’s expansion across South Wales.

Andrew Massey, a Physical Geography graduate has joined GD Environmental as their Graduate Trainee Manager; a two year graduate programme which will allow him to learn all aspects of the business. Melissa Hodges, who joins the company as Marketing Manager, will see her take a lead on all marketing activity as well as executing targeted marketing campaigns.

Mathew Roderick, Managing Director at GD Environmental, said “Go Wales has sourced two smart, efficient and enthusiastic graduates who are keen to demonstrate their potential within the working environment. Andrew and Melissa join us at a very exciting time, as GD Environmental continues to grow, their arrival will assist us to meet our business objectives”.

David Hodgins, Employee and Liaison Manager at GO Wales, Newport, said “For 10-years the GO Wales programme has been providing a range of services to help businesses in Wales recruit, retain and develop graduate staff. What is Jobs Growth Wales

Funded by the Welsh Government and European Social Fund, Jobs Growth Wales is a programme delivered by GO Wales. The project supports students and graduates to find work experience, whilst enabling local businesses to access the higher level skills of students and graduates.
